Perfect Pyramid Giveaway – Terms & Conditions

Full Terms and Conditions:

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Participants of the Promotion agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Promoter: Maldon Salt LTD, Wycke Hill Business Park, Maldon, Essex, CM9 6UZ.

  1. Free bundle giveaway offer is open to UK residents aged 18 or over only. Must provide a valid UK address. Excludes employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, their agents or anyone professionally connect with the promotion.
  2. Entrants can upload either a picture or video to @maldonsalt as an Instagram Direct Message OR Instagram Post OR Instagram Story, making sure to tag @maldonsalt and use the hashtag #perfectpyramid . OR via the the submit form on the website page. Entrants need to be following the Instagram social account of Maldon Salt. If the entrant hasn’t got social media (Instagram), we will take this into account (e.g. submitted via the website form page but doesn’t have social media).
  3. AI is not allowed. Photos/videos must be taken in real life / in person.
  4. Use of Submitted Content: By entering the competition, you give Maldon Salt permission to share, repost and use your competition entry across marketing channels, including social media, website content, email communications and paid advertising. You confirm that you own the content submitted and have the right to grant these permissions.
  5. The free bundle giveaway includes: A Chef’s Counter dining experience for two at Fallow (winner + chosen guest), payment covered by Maldon Salt Ltd | An overnight stay at Shangri-La The Shard, London (winner + chosen guest), payment covered by Maldon Salt UK | Bundle of Maldon Sea Salt Flakes to be delivered to the winner’s home address (Products include: Maldon Original Sea Salt 250g pack, Maldon Smoked Sea Salt 125g pack, Maldon Chilli Sea Salt 100g pack, Maldon Garlic Sea Salt 100g pack, Maldon Pepper Sea Salt 50g tub, Maldon Salt pig, Maldon Salt Gift Tin, Maldon Salt Pinch Tin Set, Maldon Salt Limited-Edition Apron). All Travel Expenses included.
  6. No purchase necessary.
  7. Multiple entries are accepted.
  8. All entries will be collated and judged by Maldon Salt’s Master Salt Makers.
  9. Limited to one winner only. Winner can bring along 1 x guest of their choice for the chosen day.
  10. The winning photo/video will be selected by Maldon Salt’s Master Salt Makers and will select the most ‘perfect’ pyramid-shaped sea salt flake.
  11. The winner contacted via direct message on either Instagram or Email, by the @maldonsalt account only. The winner must provide a valid UK address and phone number to claim the prize.
  12. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, mechanically reproduced, forged, falsified, altered, or tampered with in any way.
  13. There is no cash alternative.
  14. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment software, failure of any email or entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or any web site, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating and entering in the free bundle giveaway promotion.
  15. The Promoter shall not be liable for any failure of any third party to fulfil its contractual obligations although the Promoter shall try to minimise the effect of such failures.
  16. The Promoter will not enter into any communication regarding non fulfilment or prize disputes.
  17. The free bundle giveaway opens at 12:00 GMT on 18/09/2026.
  18. The free bundle giveaway closes at 23:59 GMT on 16/10/2026.
  19. Maldon Salt will contact and announce the winner on 29/10/2026 on Instagram at @maldonsalt.
  20. The free bundle giveaway winner will agree a date for the dining experience at Fallow and an overnight stay at Shangri-La The Shard, London within 4 weeks following the announcement date, 29/10/2026
  21. If the winner does not respond within 7 days of initial contact, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner.
  22. Travel Expenses: Maldon Salt Ltd will cover reasonable travel expenses incurred by the winner and their guest when travelling from their home address, Fallow Restaurant, Shangri-La The Shard, London, and their return journey home. Eligible expenses include standard-class train fares and taxi travel where appropriate. All travel receipts must be retained and submitted to Maldon Salt UK following the experience in order to claim reimbursement. Only documented expenses will be reimbursed.
  23. Please be aware that personal data will be used by the Promoter for the sole purpose of fulfilling the free giveaway offer only. All personal data will be removed within 14 days after the winner has been selected and has sent across their details for verification.
  24. Personal data provided in relation to this promotion will be held in the same way as declared within the Maldon Salt UK Privacy Policy.
  25. All entrants will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entries which it believes have not been made in compliance with these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter’s decision will be final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
  26. Entries must not contain offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify such entries at its sole discretion.
  27. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
  28. The Promoter reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions. The amended version will in that case be published on the website. If an amendment or addition significantly affects the rights or obligations of the Customer, the Promoter will notify the Customer of the amended terms and conditions.
  29. These Terms and Conditions will be governed by English law.
  30. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
